Abstract

This research stage at the University of Paris VII aims to enable the development of a joint effort between me and the teachers Monique David-Ménard (Paris VII) and Guillaume Silbertin-Blanc (Toulouse) about reconstruction models of the theory of recognition from the possibility of abandoning the centrality of notions such as psychological personality and individual identity in the constitution of the regulatory horizon of rationality of demands for social recognition. Such role is present mainly in the reflections of Axel Honneth about the social dynamics of recognition. From the absorption of a Lacanian psychoanalytic anthropology orientation, with its concept of decentered subject, we would like to think the impact of the abandonment of the regulatory function of the concept of personality and identity in understanding the political strength of the concept of recognition.
