Abstract Rooted in the theoretical-methodological work of Dominique Maingueneau (2008a, 2010a, 2010b, 2011 and 2012a), this PhD project aims to launch a discursive look at the nineteenth-century journalistic language in Brazil, more precisely between the transition from monarchical political period for the Republican. To account for such business, more specifically, mobilize the concepts formulated by Dominique Maingueneau, about aforization, sobreasseveration, scene of enunciation, quotation and severability. To compose file search our corpus analysis, we selected collection of Revista Illustrada (Rio de Janeiro: Figures 402 to 666 Year 1885 to 1893), published by Ângelo Agostini. In order to investigate and understand, in the first place, the role of nineteenth-century periodical press in the processes of production, circulation and distribution of whole, fragmented and adapted throughout the editions of Revista Illustrada, texts and, in the secondly place, this research aims, also assess how these mechanical production, circulation and dissemination interfered with gestures of reading the historical and political events of the Brazilian society of the late nineteenth century. We believe that our research belong in the proposed theoretical source for Maingueneau about "aforizant enunciation" can contribute to the development of this theory, since our corpus, unlike frequented by french theorist, is historical in nature. | |
