Abstract

This study will evaluate the sorption of amicarbazone and tebuthiuron when applied to the straw cane sugar and submitted to different periods of water deficit herbicides. For two such experiments will be conducted. The first will evaluate the sorption of herbicides in soil with a completely randomized factorial following the 2 x 4, two amounts of straw (0 and 10 t ha-1) and periods of drought (0, 30, 60 and 90 days after treatment - DAT). For such vessels will be filled with 20 L Red Hapludox in which different amounts of straw shall be deposited. The amicarbazone (800 g ai ha-1) and tebuthiuron (900 g ai ha-1), the condition will be applied pre-emergence. The adsorption will be evaluated after 24 hours of herbicide application, in the 0-10 cm depth. Passed the four periods of drought, a new collection in the 0-10 cm soil layer for the study of desorption will be held. Analyses of adsorption and desorption, will be made through the methodology of high performance liquid chromatography. In the second experiment, the interception imposed by the straw of cane sugar in the dynamics of the herbicides in the same conditions as the previous experiment will be evaluated. Open plastic units pack amounts of straw equivalent to 0 and 10 t ha-1, where the study will be applied herbicides. End of the periods of drought will be simulated rainfall of 30 mm. The solution of the transposition of straw will quantify the herbicides that transposed the straw to simulate rain and what was withheld. (AU)
