Abstract Recent data in neutrino physics report the decit of anti-neutrinos comingfrom reactors, which is called the Reactor anti-neutrino anomaly. Experi-ments made with sources of Cr and Ar placed in the SAGE and GALLEXexperiments also saw a decit in the number of electronic neutrinos it wasnamed as Gallium Anomaly, besides it, experiments with particle accelera-tors like LSND and MINIBOONE found an excess of electronic neutrinos ina muonic neutrino beam. These anomalies cannot be explained by the threeneutrino oscillation scenario. One of the possible candidates to solve theseanomalies is the sterile neutrino. However, this proposal generate some ten-sion with cosmological data and more than one sterile neutrino is necessaryin order to obtain better ts, this increase the tension with cosmology. We propose the study of non-standard interactions which do not add anynew sterile neutrino as possible solution to these anomalies. Through a pre-vious experience, where we tried to make global ts of the short base-lineneutrino data, we suppose that some energetic dependence of the parametersthat describe the non-standard interactions are demanded. This project aimsto study in detail how to implement the energetic dependence in non-standardinteractions and propose a model to describe in a reasonable way the recentdata of short base-line neutrino physics.
