Abstract

Currently , in the context of internationalization of national languages, teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language ( PLE) and Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) has seen significant growth, both by national public policies on globalization in Spanish-speaking countries and countries Lusophone speech, as well as the appreciation of language teaching as a foreign language as a communicative - discursive, cultural and social competence component. From this place, this project postdoctoral research abroad aims to study the different and varied methodological trends that are being put into practice in the teaching of PLE and ELE, specifically in teacher training courses of languages spoken within the contexts Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula (with certain geographical and historical clippings). We also consider, on the one hand give visibility to a historical review of methodological trends in the aforementioned languages specified contexts and, second, the recognition of recurring methodologies throughout history and discourse on what political and pedagogical-didactic materiality so it was done, and also check especially the methodological trends in vogue in our present time of globalization and communicative - discursive, political and social integration, as well as technology.
