Abstract

The aim of this study is to better explain kinematic changes due to toe or heel elevation of the thoracic limb in horses. For this porpouse, eight Arabian horses without clinical evidence of musculoeskeletal abnormalities will be used. All animals will perform exercise using flat and six degrees toe or elevation shoe. Kinematic evaluation will be performed using the locomotion analyser equipment Equimetrix. The data will be analyzed by ANOVA followed by Tukey test (p <0.05).
