Abstract

The intermittent bladder catheterization (CI) is an effective and safe technique of bladder emptying, for the treatment and prevention of renal deterioration and urinary incontinence resulting from neurogenic bladder in patients with spina bifida (EB). Therefore, it is necessary to identify and develop new educational technologies that can assist in the training and support of these individuals and their families to do the CI. In this direction, a virtual forum (Mielofórum) for individuals with EB and their families is being developed by a group of researchers with the aim of providing an environment of mutual support, exchange of information, experiences and learning. However, there is a need for this forum is rated by its users, so that the tool can be improved. The aim of this study is to develop and validate an online questionnaire for assessing virtual forum a user's perspective. This is a quantitative research, which will be developed in three stages: build the online questionnaire (in the Survey Monkey platform for sample characterization and evaluation of the forum), validation of the judges of informatics and health and carrying out pre-test with forum users (Mielofórum). The expectation is to develop a questionnaire to assess whether the board meets the expectations of users and improve it to suit this audience. Contributing to the future, other online forums can be developed for different pathologies, which in addition to supporting users, can be used by health professionals. (AU)
