Abstract

The student will have both theoretical and experimental activities to complement his academic formation and prepare him to a good understanding of the physical problems involveld. The experiments with atoms involve handeling diode lasers, with extended cavities, as well as Ti:Saffire lasers with sofisticated ring cavities. Some of the important activities the student will perform are the study of different interferometers and cavities.
