Abstract

People with visual impairment rely on other sensory perceptions to live rather than the vision. Considering the need to develop body awareness, the research in question intends to propose this work of awareness / expression and activities of dance creation for people with visual impairment. To achieve positive results and proximity with the body in question, the project beginning is based on a theoretical research on the issues involved i this work: dance and visual impairment, and ways to connect them. In the second stage, the research will be developed through bodily practices with visually impaired users of Unicamp Accessibility Laboratory (LAB/Unicamp), during four months, and the results will be described in a reflective report relating them to the bibliography on the subject raised throughout the project.
