Abstract

This project intends to explore some relations between the likelihood-based $s$-value proposed by Patriota (2013) [Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 233, 74-88] and other classical methods of inference, e.g., the $c$-value proposed by Bickel (2014) [Working paper] and the Fiducial inference proposed by Fisher (1930) [Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 26, 528-535]. The main goal is to technically examine the main differences and similarities among such related measures.
