Abstract

The research project aims to study the effects of the helicase domain of nonstructural protein 3 in recombinant form (rNS3H) of dengue virus serotype 2 (DENV2) combined with iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4) in BALB / c from immunization thereof, monitoring the immune response and induction of protective immunity against a lethal challenge with JHA1 the DENV2 strain. The protein is produced from the strain BL21 (DE3) RIL plasmid harboring pETNS3H (BLNS3H) and then it is purified by affinity chromatography. The obtained protein will be combined with nanoparticles to study the induced immune response compared to previous data with other adjuvants. The safety of such formulations will be evaluated over the hematological analyses, liver function markers, levels of C-reactive protein and histopathological analyses. (AU)
