Abstract

This research scope is rotoscopic bidimensional animated cartoon. Rotoscope is a tecnique used by animators since early 20th century because it is highly productive, but its strong relationship with the uncanny and the "Uncanny Valley" is a problem to be solved. This research aims to treat it through an exploratory survey for techniques.
