Abstract In this project we will study disordered interacting fermionic systems through the Strong Disorder Renormalization Group (SDRG) technique. One of our motivations for this study is the elucidation of the effects of interactions on the Anderson metal-insulator transition. The SDRG is a powerful tool for the investigation of disordered systems, one which has yet to be applied in its full extension to the analysis of this important class of systems. Our final goal is the determination of the phase diagram and the physical properties of the disordered Hubbard and t-J models, in one and more dimensions, and the nature of the transitions between the phases.
