Abstract

The perspective for this project is building to a new Art History as from the analysis of the women in the Attic vases made by Euphronios and his companions and fellows (Oltos, Smikros and Onesimos) between 520-500 B.C. and establish how the discourses about the body corroborate for to mould the gender and sexuality conceptions into the Greek society. Understanding this way, what are the concepts of body, gender and sexuality, how they are related in this organization and how they are determinants in the development of social roles. (AU)
