Abstract

This undergraduate research work aims to study the thermal behavior of transformers, so that, should be improved. The main thermal characteristics will be studied through simulations by Finite Volume Method (FVM), and also experimental measurements will be performed. Thus one can evaluate the parameters proposed by the simulation bring results that match the real situation. This allows new projects to be carried out more efficiently, so in less time and lower cost.
