Abstract

The proposed research aims to carry out a research internship Laboratoire Dynamiques Rurales, linked with the University of Toulouse II-Jean Jaurès. The main objective is to deepen the knowledge about the Organization and operation of small-scale agriculture in Brazil and in France, and their participation in the productive chains, taking as a reference the empirical rural area of the Department Haute-Garonne in the Midi-Pyrenees. It is expected with the stage to deepen the knowledge of related concepts the regular search: small-scale agriculture, productive chains and production circuits from the French literature. Recognizing the importance of the actions developed by the PAC and the LEADER programme for the understanding of the french countryside we will make the query documents and official websites in order to seize their conceptions, functioning and objectives. To achieve the proposed objectives established as methodological procedures, in addition to the literature review, data collection of secondary sources and conducting interviews with the representatives of the Chamber of Agriculture, Agricultural Advice and small rural producers of Haute-Garonne.
