Abstract

This project aims to analyze the way by which Seyla Benhabib recovers Hannah Arendt´s notion of 'enlarged mentality' in order to formulate the theory of interactive universalism and the theory of deliberative democracy. At the same time, I want to investigate the limits of arendtian philosophy for Seyla Benhabib and her proposal of thinking "with Arendt and against Arendt".
