Abstract

Since its formulation by Maynard Smith in the context of the Evolutionary Theory in the 80's, the Game Theory have been used to deal with questions related to the evolution of a population with respect to its intrinsic features (phenotypics). During the last few years, it has been considered the coupling of the evolutionary dynamic formulated this way with the dynamics that describes the variation of the total number of individuals of a certain population. This formulation is required specially in questions involving populations of microorganisms. We intend to use this joint dynamics to do a phenomenological analysis of recent experimental data suggesting cooperative behavior between bacteria resistant to the action of antibiotics.
