Abstract The purpose of the project is to perform a statistical approach to the hydrodynamics of a gas in thermal expansion due to its combustion as suggested by Onsager in his seminal work on turbulence, aiming at the interpretation of experimental data produced by Paul D. Ronney on premixed flame propagation in Hele-Shaw channels. We intend to describe the motion of the flame cusps through the pole solutions of Michelson-Sivashinsky equation and its induced dynamics. | |
