Abstract

In this research I propose to analyze the effects of policies to diminish sex trafficking, sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and sex tourism upon the dynamics of sex markets. In this behalf, I will consider the construction and modification of these categories in Fortaleza, a city that became paradigmatic in the conceptualizations of sex crimes and the implementation of policies to diminish them since 1990.
