Abstract

The research project aims to understand and discuss the marketing spaces of organic products, such as fairs, supermarkets, and specialty stores and the multiple influences of its different consumption profiles in the choices, productive strategies and development of small and medium organic producers in the interior of São Paulo. Tries to understand as established trust models between the agents who participate in these marketing spaces, creating sometimes a reciprocity based on co-presence, sometimes the need for expert systems as certification seals. The market for organic products is understood as part of a network of values and practices where prevails symbolic and immaterial factors, configuring the so-called productive-consuming agent. The study will focus on the marketing spaces of organic products of the three medium cities in the paulista inland, São Carlos, Ribeirão Preto and São José do Rio Preto.
