Abstract

Nowadays computational techniques developments allowed access to new types of teaching methods emphasizing employment of virtual tools that provide an evolution in the process of teaching and learning. This project will use free software for viewing, analysis and generation of 3D models, creating an image bank for virtual teaching aid in Radiology classes Cranio-facial, facilitating the learning of anatomical imaging and enabling simulations in diagnostic imaging. The images used to create the three-dimensional environment will MRI and CT scan cone beam. The use of a virtual component to this goal will enable the student to explore all concepts with the same ease and advantages offered by real tests, but allowing greater interactivity.
