Abstract

This research seeks to study the deteriorated urban areas of public importance and its intrinsic spatial relations partner, in order to envision urban imaginary able to inform projects of architecture and urbanism under the "challenge of radical experimentation" to midsize cities in São Paulo State specifically, Araçatuba-SP. Accordingly, we require the study of the context of the central area contiguous with the iron bed in Araçatuba-SP - the vicinity of the old Railway Station - in search of situations and by city types capable of triggering the dilemmas and entanglements present in urban space, in the search for qualities that will be collected and analyzed through multimediatic media and sketches
