Abstract

This research aims to understand the meanings attributed to the feeling of gratitude in the experience of a love relationship, trying to ascertain the subjects who experience this relationship, as this feeling is perceived and thought for them. From a psychoanalytic perspective, the baby's early relationship with the breast and the mother is considered essential for the development of both physical and psychic this. It is the time in which to build the basis for the bonus will be reflected in subsequent experiences. The satisfaction of experiences promoted by nourishing breast and the mother's care, influence the baby's ability to take pleasure and internalize a good object, which allows you to develop a sense of gratitude. This makes it possible, in the relationship with a loved one in adulthood, return to the feelings of love and affection. In this sense, this research will take place from a survey of psychoanalytic studies on the topic gratitude, seeking to understand this feeling in the early relations and their resonances in love relationships. Subsequently, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with five people, seeking to understand the meanings attributed to the feeling of gratitude in the experience of a love relationship. To analyze these data, we propose a dialogue of psychoanalytic theories on the topic and the material obtained from the interviewees. We aim that the theory and the speech of the subjects complement and provoke discussions, leading to new knowledge about the feelings of gratitude in love relationships. Thus, this research attempts to serve as assistance for further research on the topic of gratitude and loving relationship and promote discussions to think about the dynamics of love relationships.(AU)
