Abstract

The scope of this project is based on research into the ways in which the theories of contemporary individuation, in their different elaborations, have recourse to Bergsonism elements which reflect the need for a formulation of the concept of individuation that integrates a pluralistic perspective of philosophy and life sciences. More specifically, we intend to investigate the hypothesis of the Bergson prospect of a philosophical and epistemological pluralism as an essential step for contemporary philosophy assimilate the changes on the design of life and models derived from it; between Bergson and Deleuze the exponents more took this a step further were Ruyer Raymond and Gilbert Simondon. Which means that their contributions are essential to establish a more systematic framework on the role of individuation in contemporary French philosophy. (AU)
