Abstract

The process school inclusion involves the participation of various educational agents, and need and importance in to meet the school environment of special students at high school, especially the interactions and experiences between such students and their classmates. Focusing the importance of research that include Special Education in high school context, we emphasize in this study peer relations with and without disabilities. Thus, this study aims to characterize the interaction between special students and classmates; Identify understanding the classmate on the inclusion of special students in the classroom and identify how the special student realize their inclusion in the classroom and interaction with colleagues. The rationale for this work is that it is considered of utmost importance as it is being investigated the interaction of the target group of special education students with their classmates without disabilities; with reference to the interactions and experiences among such peers in the classroom context and other environments in high school. This study will be attended by target group of special education students and his classmates, who are enrolled in a high school of a medium-sized municipality in the central region of São Paulo. This study is methodological reference the qualitative approach, exploratory and descriptive, using observations, questionnaires for classmates and semi-structured interview for the target group of special education students. As one of the expected results is the characterization of social interactions and experiences among the target group of special education students enrolled in high school and his classmates.
