Abstract

The viewer of the artwork is not merely a passive observer.He realizes something in the artwork that he already brings with him, along with the unusual and the unexpected, aspects that have enabled their state as subject as those whom improved their creativity and ability of giving meaning to the world. This research aims to investigate how is the aesthetics reception and the experience of users on mental health services during a visit to art exhibitions in set spaces. Starting with the assumption that art offers an access for an awakening of subjectivities and allows an opening of new ways of existence construction. Treat people with severe psychosocial suffering is opening the doors to a viewer perspective, often voiceless in contemporary western society. It is an intervention-research which uses the implied psychoanalytic method that suggests an open researcher attitude towards the subject, with no claim to interpret and categorize their speech, enabling the emergence of other experiences and the free association of ideas, with the artwork being the starting point.Thus, will be produced daily fields, will be elaborated narratives of life stories of participants and built analyzers in the light of both the bibliographic revision about the topic and the experience acquired during the research. Data analysis aims to contribute to the research in psychoanalysis and art and ways of dealing with the psychosocial suffering.
