Abstract

We will study the quantum Monte Carlo methods with both aims of to master the basic techniques but also as a mean to develop intuitions and reasonings about the physical principles involved in systems that requires quantum mechanics for their description. We intent begin our studies by considering one-body systems, but we want also to approach the many-body systems through the variational Monte Carlo methods.
