Abstract The project aims to develop three main themes in hadron physics employing the QCD Dyson-Schwinger equations in continuum QCD: (i) get the spectrum of baryons of strangeness by using a realistic interaction model; (ii) provide an insightful analysis of the parton distribution functions of the kaon; and (iii) compute the leading-twist parton distribution amplitudes (PDAs) of the nucleon. The analysis and computations proposed are of importance for the understanding of the phenomenon of quark and gluon confinement how is it related to dynamical chiral symmetry breaking, which is responsible for the origin of the vast majority of visible mass in the Universe. | |
