Abstract

This project consists of a study to obtain collect data from healthy people in Campinas area in order to obtain a database for comparison with the performance of neurologically impaired people treated at the neurology clinic of Hospital das Clíinicas, University of Campinas. It will also analyze the influence of demographic factors such as age and education on the performance of each cognitive function. Approximately 60 individuals grouped into six groups (20 to 35 years with educational level of 0 to 6 years, 7 to 11 and greater than 11 years, in the same way for people of 36 to 50 years) without neurological symptoms and / or psychiatric They will undergo be subjected to the following tests: Rey Auditory Verbal Learning;, Stroop;, verbal, semantic and phonological fluency;, tracks A and B; and the subtests Vocabulary and Ccubes of Wechsler Intelligence Scale. We will carry out the statistical analysis using descriptive and inferential analysis. It notes is important to point out that some of the tests used in this study have not been little studied widely used in Brazil, such as the Stroop, test tracks A and B, and semantic and phonological fluency test for certain age groups. The data obtained at the end of the project will serve as a reference for other studies within and outside of our institution.
