Abstract

With the recurrent changes in society, in a postmodern reality, characterized by flightiness and disposable relationships, we live an acceleration of the time, becoming more and more common ephemeral human relations, from work to love relationships. Romantic love that marked the eighteenth, nineteenth until mid-twentieth century, marked by the stability of the relationship, although still in the social imaginary, loses space to pure relationships, operated by the satisfaction of the partners more than by the social conventions. In face of this new social situation families have undergone important transformations and the weddings until then lasting, they begin increasingly to dissolve in a short time, especially when they don't involve children. Researches show the exponential growth of divorces in the first years of the relationship. Considering that in a marital plot there are processes of identification with the parental couple, this research aims to verify the influence of parental models in the constitution of the marital links of their children.
