Abstract

Robots have been used in several and important areas of society, including critical contexts, making the robotic systems, which are responsible for controlling these robots, larger, more complex, and, therefore, difficult to develop. The development of such systems becomes even more challenging when there is the need to integrate robots into larger and interconnected systems, in the case, the Systems-of-Systems (SoS) that usually involve a wide variety of other types of systems. In this scenario, it is observed that most of the robotic systems are still developed in isolation, making them difficult to integrate into SoS. From this perspective, the main objective of this project is the design and implementation of a robotic system that presents mechanisms that facilitate integration to a SoS. As a result, it is expected to contribute to the development of SoS, for example, an SOS for monitoring a factory that has robots, motion sensors, and other devices, and, as a consequence, promote the use of these SoS and also robots in several areas of society.
