Abstract Tissue engineering has shown some promising methods to restore vitality of thedental pulp, beeing and it's essencial to its progress the development of scaffoldsand the incorporation of new technologies. Thus, nanofibers scaffolds composedof polymeric substances generated by eletrospinning have optimistic results inregenerative endodontics. However, the lack of cell recognition and low surfacefree energy of these scaffolds are factors that prejudice the adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. In this project, cold plasma at atmosphericpressure will be used to change and increase the reactivity of a polidioxanone /hexaisofluoroisopropanol scaffold with LL-37, evaluating whether this treatmentwill promote an increase in the surface free energy by measuring the contactangle with a goniometer and analyzing its results in vitro quantitatively andqualitatively in dental pulp stem cells (DPSC) proliferation by scanning electronmicroscope. The results will be analyzed by statistical tests previously chosen, itwill be applied the most convenient test for each analysis using significance levelof 5%. | |
