Abstract

This work is about a phenomenological study in karate, capoeira and MMA, based on the concept of body in M. Merleau- Ponty. It aims to understand how karate, capoeira and MMA practitioners experience their bodies in combat, considering psychological and cultural processes related to lived constitution in the practice of each of these fights. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted with karate, capoeira and MMA practitioners. These data will be analyzed based on the phenomenological method. (AU)
