Abstract

The research activities that we will involve while in Shanghai, during 29/10 to 26/11/2016, will have as principal objective to give continuity to the line of research work that we have been doing in colaboration with Prof. Andrei Martínez-Finkelshtein. Prof. Martínez-Finkelshtein is one of the leading specialist in our area of research as confirmed by his participation as editors of many of the importante research journals of the area. As professor Tyaglov is a specialist in the field of study involving spectral properties of matrices and zeros of polinomials, during this visit we will have his collaboration on a study concerning the spectral properties that follow from a special generalized eigenvalue problem. Finally, during the period of 27/11 a 04/12/2016 in IIT Roorkee, India, in addition to my participation in the event ICMAA 2016 as an invited speaker, I will also take the opportunity to continue my collaboration with Prof. Swaminathan (of IIT Roorkee) on topics of research that uses Chain Sequences to study orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle. We like to inform that the research collaborations that we have realized during the visit of Prof. Swaminathan to Brazil in 2013 and during my visit to IIT Roorkee in 2014 has resulted in two papers, one of them published in 2016 and the other one accepted (conditionally) for publication in 2016.
