Investigation of possibility of superconductivity in the Ta1-xZrxB e Ta1-xTixB series, which crystallize on the FeB prototype structure

Abstract

In this proposal we show evidences of the superconductivity possibility in a new serie of boride materials which can crystallize in a FeB prototype structure with general chemical formula Ta1-xZrxB and Ta1-xTixB. This possibility are sustained by superconductivity behavior in another member of Ta1-xHfxB stoichiometry, which exhibit superconducting behavior with signature of multi band. Preliminary results of superconcuting behavior in specific Ta0.7Zr0.3B stoichiometry with Tc close to 4,5 K give support for these ideas.
