Abstract

The lighting of classrooms plays an important role in school performance, not only by providing the appropriate environment for the realization of visual activities, but also to create well-being feeling with the environment. This research aims to determine how the lighting quality indicators relate to indicators of positive perception of the classroom environment. A case study will be carried out in the classrooms of undergraduate courses in Design and Architecture of the School of Architecture, Arts and Communication UNESP, campus in Bauru (SP). Distributions of several photometric indicators of these rooms will be calculated, which will later be confronted with answers to questionnaires on environmental perception aspects applied to students of these courses. The results of both surveys will be faced to establish relations between the lighting and the environmental perception.
