Abstract Semiclassical gravity has unveiled some surprising effects as, e.g., Hawking radiation. In spite of its conceptual importance, its impact to astrophysics is neglectable. More recently, however, it was shown how the instability of relativistic stars can be treated in the context of Semiclassical Gravity, known as the vacuum awakening effect. In this project, we intend to look for condensed matter analogs of the vacuum awakening effect. | |
