Abstract Will be investigated the pollen morphology of sixteen native Euphorbiaceae species and three native Phyllanthaceae species from forest fragments of northwestern São Paulo State. The aim is to describe the pollen morphology of the species, assisting theirs morphologic characterization and supporting theirs taxonomy and classification, expanding the knowledge about pollen diversity of these families because Phyllanthaceae was considered a sub-family in Euphorbiaceae, and providing subsidies of biodiversity in these environments. The pollen grains will be acetolyzed, measured, described and photomicrographed under light microscope, and when necessary, under scanning electron microscope in order to visualize the exine ornamentation. Quantitative data will be statistically analyzed according to the samples size. | |
