Abstract

This project aims to observe relations between Brazilian anthropology and foreign, seeking the representation of one and others in many senses that they can acquire. From the dual relationship between center-periphery, in other words between anthropologists and natives on the one hand and between central anthropologies and marginal on the other hand, this research seeks to highlight the ways in which relations are established and the contents of these. In this sense, it will see, between other elements, such as certain anthropologies "centrals" dialogue with the Brazilian anthropology when your objects are in Brazil, focusing especially foreign researchers completed their courses here. On another level, we seek definitions of Brazilian anthropology in instruments such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, reviews, etc. At this point, we intend to compare views of "outside" and "inside", but produced to a global audience, as a mechanism for observation of the type of relationships that can be understood within designed vectors the axis "center-periphery". How then we could observe the multiple positions which Brazilian anthropology holds in the international field? The idea is thus to mount a type of relationships that help to think a certain international policy on Brazilian anthropology. (AU)
