Abstract

A major issue on the understanding of cognition is temporal judgement. Mechanisms behind this judgment are not fully understood yet. With this project, we will analyze different models of time perception and develop a stochastic neuronal model. The model aims to describe psychophysical properties observed experimentally, such as the scalar property and the interval bisection at the geometric mean. We will also seek to relate these psychophysical results with the observation of time cells in electrophysiological experiments. (AU)
