Abstract

The growing need for replacement of dental elements in a quicker and efficient manner makes the dental implants the first choice as treatment line. Therefore, materials have been developed to accelerate the osseointegration process of these accessories. Due to morphological structure, soluble (FS) and insoluble factors, the amniotic human membrane (MA) has been used as biomaterial for surgical reconstruction for almost 100 years, being noted as an ideal instrument for tissue healing. The objective of this project is to study the contribution of soluble and insoluble components, obtained from amniotic human membrane in the behavior of human osteoblasts in culture for the improvement of osseointegration of dental implants. For this, the FS of MA will be extracted and tested in osteoblasts at presence and absence of decellularized MA and without FS. After culture, the following parameters will be analyzed, including the cell proliferation (MTT and cell cycle analysis methodology); cell adhesion by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy); the effects of the factors on cell migration; and the degree of cell differentiation by measurement of the alkaline phosphatase enzyme. The biological analyzes will allow an initial evaluation of material proposed for the interaction between implants and biological tissue. (AU)
