Abstract

In the first report related to the JP project, the regulatory activity of the Bacillus subtilis purine riboswitches were characterized in vitro. sRNAs designed to target these riboswitches were also assayed in vitro to access their functionality. Next, sRNAs functionality will be assayed in vivo using B. subtilis. Therefore, it is necessary to characterize the riboswitches in vivo first. (AU)
