Abstract

This project aims at preparing the student to work in the area of Quark Gluon Production in heavy-ion collisions at the large accelerators, LHC at CERN-Switzerland and RHIC at BNL-USA. The program includes acquiring computational skills (solving the hydrodynamic equations numerically) and physics background (fluid mechanics, relativity, particle physics, statistical physics). (AU)
