Abstract

Changes can be made in agricultural production systems in order to provide a greater increase in productivity obtained with the system, an example of this is in the practice of planting fertilization in the used vegetable species, which has great importance when it comes to the maize culture. In this way, it can be said that both the choice of a suitable variety to be cultivated and the application of adequate levels of planting's fertilization are fundamental practices for the sustainable management of the culture in question. Therefore, it is understood that the search for sustainability, which is contemplated by concepts of economic, environmental and social order, in the corn production, should be based on the use of genetic materials that present high levels of efficiency in the use of the nutrients provided by the fertilization of planting, which are essential to the development of the plants and consequently to obtain good levels of productivity. Therefore, in order to establish the best genotypes and levels of planting fertilization for maize cultivation, should be performed a study based on the quantification of the efficiency of the genetic material for fertilizers at different levels of application, obtaining results through field tests and statistical analyzes of the results.
