Abstract

The present study aims to evaluate the stress generated in upper premolars rehabilitated with table top ceramic of lithium disilicate. Through CAD software (computer aided drawing - Rhinoceros) will be modeled a superior premolar following its anatomical references. The dental tissues will be individually shaped, containing enamel, dentin and periodontal ligament, and the main anatomical points will be used as parameters to create the model. The geometry of the cement (with a thickness of 0.1mm) and a ceramic fragment varying between the thicknesses: 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm will also be modeled. The ceramic material of choice will be the commercially available E.maxPRESS lithium disilicate, and the cement will be Variolink II. The solid geometries will be exported to the ANSYS 17.0 software in STEP format. The materials will be considered isotropic, homogeneous and linear, and the values of the elastic modulus (E) of enamel, dentin, periodontal ligament, alveolar bone, spongy bone, cement and ceramics will respectively be E = 84.1 GPa, E = 18.6 GPa, E = 0.0689 GPa, E = 13.7GPa, E = 1.37 GPa, E = 9.9 GPa and E = 95 GPa. The set will be 200Nloaded in the central region of the occlusal face to analyze the main maximum tension values (TMP), masticatory axial force and constrained.at the base of the cortical bone. (AU)
