Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to identify, analyze and systematize how industrial companies operating in Spain, especially in the automotive industry, have conducted their supply chain risk management (SCRM). The comparative analysis of the research data in Spain with the data of other similar investigations already carried out and/or being conducted in Brazil by the researcher, should also provide results and construction of frameworks with the intention of contributing with the academic investigations and industrial actions in the area in Brazil. The research will also serve to identify new fronts of research that may be explored by this researcher, his students or other researchers in Brazil. For this the research will have an exploratory character and will use the case study method with a preferably "multi-tier" approach. (AU)
