Abstract This paper integrates a thematic investigation, The Feminine in Arts: Actions and Gaps, coordinated by Dr. Valéria Eugênia Garcia. The research deals with the possible associations between art and the city, it is centered on female participation. In this sense, we seek to understand the work of Monica Nador, in many ways as a form of feminine expression on a peripheral community of the city of São Paulo, where she develops actions of inclusion of the inhabitants through mural paintings. The work is in fact the exact prescription of ONU, the avocation of art and its plural access as a basic human right. Nador stands for the city as a privileged locus of artistic expression and together with the residents, she organized the Jardim Miriam Arte Clube (JAMAC) where she works to produce forms of artistic expression outside the traditional galleries and museums. The artist dedicates herself to transforming the hegemonic stands in favor of popular expressions towards the valuing of aesthetic and political qualities, working beyond the named "White Cubes" spaces, she produces forms of art expressions beyond the official city and the institutionalized galleries. Thus, this paper intends to figure Nador expression of shared authorship as a possibility of transforming the imposed barriers on women's actions in the midst of the deconstruction of institutionalized art itself (AU) | |
