Abstract

With the presentation of this project we intend to continue the research carried out in Brazil and Spain during graduation. The objective is to understand the repercussions of the processes of innovation - digital banking - in the pace of expansion and spatial logics of office banking, as well as user practices in the city, taking into account the context of financial restructuring triggered in the post - crisis (2007-2008). Thus, we will analyze spatial logics that consolidated during the bank restructuring and how this process were impacted by the dissemination of the use and investments in digital banking, contributing to the closure of offices and to new practices of users in the use of time and space in the city. Therefore, the research will seek to broaden the horizons of primary research, especially from the construction of comparative analyzes on the recent innovation processes and their implications for the expansion rhythms, spatial logics and practices of users of the banking system in the city of Spain and Campinas, Brazil.
