Abstract

This research project intends to propose and survey a structural system of spatial truss that was built in reforested wood (genus Pinus) for small spaces, in particular for roofing of social housing and evaluate your structural performance, having like guiding principle, the prescriptions of NBR 15.575/2013 - parts 2 and 5. will be evaluated the global performance structural, the linkage and the constructability. It is intended evaluate some requisites of performance like structural stability, durability and maintainability. will be accomplished technologic tests in proof-bodies and representative models of truss and your connections according to the analysis of bibliographic search and oriented by NBR 15.575/2013. will be evaluated two types of connection: in steel sheets and other in polymeric sheets of Polyvinyl chloride - known as PVC. Is expected, that this could foment the understanding of prescriptions of performance standard NBR 15.575/2013 and the fulfilment of the requirements established, - evaluate the proposition of wood use like roof structure in social housing and - evaluate two types of connection more lightweight that doesn't overload the structural capacity of the truss with the high mass of the usual joints. the results of this research will be released in national events and/or international in this field of research.
